Maxx Crosby, Raiders take down Packers in 17-13 win: Full game analysis

It wasn’t pretty.

“I don’t give a s—,” Maxx Crosby said in an emptying locker room. “As long as we win, I am happy.”

The Las Vegas Raiders still haven’t scored 20 points in a game this season, but they are somehow 2-3 thanks to a defense that is viewed as Crosby and a bunch of dudes. The Raiders stopped the Green Bay Packers three times in the fourth quarter Monday night to close out the 17-13 win, punctuated by a leaping Amik Robertson interception of a 35-yard pass with 44 seconds left.

“We are super confident and we expected to go back on the field to close it out,” Crosby said. “That’s what we want. We’ve been talking about it all week … we’ve been talking about it since the offseason. We want to be the reason we win.

“A lot of people have been talking about our defense and what we don’t have, and we know what we got.”

The 13 points by the Packers ties for the fewest allowed by the Raiders in the last three seasons, and the three interceptions Monday night are a first since they intercepted Teddy Bridgewater three times in a Week 6 win over the Denver Broncos in 2021.

What’s not new? Crosby coming from every angle, never stopping to move forward in pursuit of the ball carrier, or better yet, the quarterback.
